The DAKAR 2015 Ends in Burenos Aires with Three Hiluxes in the Top 10.

Today's concluding stage was from ROSARIO to BUENOS AIRES. Due to heavy rain since morning, the SS (Special Stage) became muddy and very slippery so on short notice it was shortened from 174 km to the 34 km mark where CP1 (check point) was situated.

In the overall ranking, GINIEL was a close 2nd, finishing 35 minutes and 34 seconds behind the leader. He made a comment which holds promise for the next Dakar. "The HILUX has gotten better and better. I am certain that the day will soon come when the HILUX claims victory." Stepping down from the podium, GINIEL greeted and offered his congratulations to the overall champion, NASSER AL-ATTIYAH (QATAR RALLY TEAM), and to the Moto Category overall champion, MARC COMA. Fans got a charge when GINIEL's co-driver, DIRK VON ZITZEWITZ, let them touch the 2nd prize trophy. Getting the HILUX all the way to the podium, GINIEL and DIRK had a great time with the other competitors and all the fans along the way. Three HILUXES finished in the top 10 including CHRISTIAN, who was 6th, and BERNHARD in 7th place.
