Oranjestad, Aruba – On Saturday, July 5th, 2025, Toyota Aruba proudly hosted the HINO Eco Drive Event, an impactful seminar aimed at supporting HINO truck owners and drivers through practical training focused on fuel efficiency, safety, and operational cost reduction.
This event was part of Toyota Aruba’s ongoing commitment to the HINO Total Support philosophy, fostering long-term relationships based on mutual trust and support between distributor and customer. The ultimate goal: to contribute to our customers’ business growth while promoting sustainable driving practices.
The Eco Drive Event welcomed 13 drivers from 7 different companies who currently operate HINO trucks. The training combined both theory and hands-on sessions, including:
- Baseline measurement of fuel consumption under normal driving habits
- Instruction on proper and efficient driving techniques
- Best practices for cost reduction and daily vehicle checks
- Post-training fuel consumption measurement after applying Eco Drive principles
- A final review and discussion showcasing real-world data on the benefits of Eco Driving
The results spoke volumes. With measurable improvements in fuel efficiency and enhanced driving behavior, participants left with valuable insights they could immediately apply to their daily operations.
